page three - Sudden Death - We learn by the Punxsutawney "Plaindealer" that on Monday last, the 21st, a daughter of Mrs. Weaver, of Troutville, aged about seven years, while playing with some little girls at the school house in that place, was noticed to fall down. Some of her larger companions observing that there was something wrong, picked the little one up to carry her to a house near by, but before reaching it she expired in their arms. / Married - On November 20, 1870, by J. P. Farwell, Esq., Mr. Walter McCracken to Miss Martha Garrison, both of Ferguson township. - At the Presbyterian parsonage, in Clearfield, on November 15th, 1870, by Rev. H.S. Butler, Mr. Zaccheus Fulton to Miss Mary Jane Forcey. - At New Millport, on November 24th, 1870, by Rev. Abel Thompson, Mr. John M. Hunter, of Jordan township, to Miss Martha Erhard, of New Millport.
