page three - Fatal Accident - We learn that Matthew Stott, of Woodward township, while tearing down an old barn on the 7th inst., was so seriously injured by a fall from the building that he died on Wednesday morning. / A Family Love Feast - We learn that Ex-Sheriff Robert Ross and his wife, residing near Curwensville, celebrated their fiftieth, or Golden wedding on Wednesday last, by having a general family gathering at their residence. Both enjoy good health with every prospect of long life. The number of persons present on the occasion was about eighty, and all seemed to enjoy themselves right well. / Sudden Death. - On Tuesday, the 8th inst., Abel Brooks, an old resident of Brady township, took his oxen and went to the woods to haul some firewood, and remaining out longer than necessary, a member of the family repaired to the woods, found the oxen hitched to a log and Mr. Brooks lying on the ground insensible. He was at once removed to the house where he expired that night. There were no marks of violence about his person, and the cause of his death is a mystery. / Married - On October 20th, 1870, by E. Hiltebrand, Esq., Mr. David Miller to Miss Isabella Cochrin [Cocoran?], both of Clearfield county. / Died - In Boggs township, on November 16th, 1870, Robert Hess, aged about 19 years. / Executor's Notice - Estate of George Smeal, late of Bradford township / Executor's notice - Estate of John Hockenberry, late of Ferguson township / Administratirx' Notice - Estate of William Dale, late of Lawrence township...Rebecca Dale, Administratrix
